@boazrg part 3 the immigrants in the US do pay taxes and without them this country would be in decline Yes it's true with third world immigrants there are problems but I do not see any other way unless the birth rate of Americans and Europeans is at least at replacement level and this would still mean larger percentages of elderly people as the living span increases The idea that immigrants are sponging on this country is basically false despite certain cases to the contrary
@boazrg part 2 The Mexican and other immigrants wouldn't be coming here if there were not jobs This form of immigration is common all over the western world and much more so in Europe without immigrants the population of many European countries would be in rapid decline and eventually the population would have not enough young workers and a huge percentage of elderly In Japan which very much limits immigration the population is expected to be half of what it is now by the end of the century
@boazrg Regardless what your views are on this subject Edward Kennedy outright lied to the people Kennedy said that his bill would not change the culture of this country, I doubt he really believed this, he may have been reacting to scare tatics by the opposition only, but he certainly wasn't correct and no one with an IQ above 70 could have believed it However to give a balanced view this change in the supremecy of the western world was doomed world wide as well as in the USA
i am talking about all those dominican, boricua, mexicans on section 8, food stamps, wic, social security SSI, etc. they are a drain on the tax payers.
@Rico8458 I'm an immigrant, well i moved here because of work, and trust me i pay lots of taxes. I would not say immigrants, since most of them, us, work hardto be able to afford a comfortable ife in the states. most of the money the goverment take from our paychecks goes straight to those proyects, where african americans and "boricuas" live, they have no money to survive but they do have enough to afford expensive cars and tacky jewerly.
@Rico8458 I was born in 1946. The USA in two generations time has become a third world dumping ground, where half the population pays no taxes, and is supported by the other half that pays the freight! How did this happen? Two reasons!
1. The "Immigration Reform Act of 1965", sponsored in the senate by the late Edward Moore ("Teddy") Kennedy.
2. The now infamous "Reagan Amnesty" of 1987, courtesy of Ronald Wilson Reagan.
