Slide-Lok's new SLAC-27 High gloss sealer is perfect for the DIY or fixer-upper garage project. SLAC-27 is one of the cheapest garage flooring chemicals on the market. Our SLAC-27 is a simple 3-coat process which involves a 2-3 day application period per weather conditions.
This product is great for the DIY market as this floor coating system is relatively easy to complete. You will need experiance in how to operate a floor buffer as well as painting.
Day 1:
Clean and degrease the floor/area where you will be applying the SLAC-27 Floor chemical. First wash down the floor with a hose/water supply. Mix the Cleaner/Degrease 1:1 with water in the buffer. Buff the floor and wash off remaining substance, let dry for approximately 24 hours.
*** Dry time may vary depending upon weather conditions. You will need to know how to use a floor buffer.
Day 2:
After the floor has dried prepare to Cut-in, Coat, and broadcast the floor depending upon the buyers specifications for the Anti-slip additive. Mix 8oz. pigment per 1 gallon of SLAC-27. Cut in the floor and begin rolling the concrete slabs. After the first coat, let it dry for 30-45 minutes before getting back on the floor. Mix more pigment and SLAC-27 for the 2nd coat. Cut in again and begin to roll the concrete squares/slabs. After the 2nd coat broadcast the Slide-Lok anti-slip additive per buyer's specifications. Let the 2nd coat dry for 30-45 minutes before getting back on the floor. For the 3rd coat mix some more pigment and SLAC-27. Cut in the final concrete slabs and roll the final coat. Upon completion tell the buyers to stay off for a minimum of 24 hours.
