Today, July 9, 2009, Westlake Plaza in Seattle, WA, was the rallying place for an estimated 200 people gathered to show support for Iran's protester of the current questionable government. The rally was peaceful, very vocal and very passionate. Chants of "Free Iran" and "we want freedom" could be heard echoing thru downtown Seattle. As both American and Iranian flags swayed in the brezze, both women, men, young and old gathered in a show of unity. A handful of police were on the scene buy there were no incidents. Most of those attending seem to be of Middle Eastern decent which posses the question, are the majority of Americans losing interest in what many seem to have an interest in weeks ago. Hopefully not.
