During a recent hunt on public land in New Zealand Chris shot his first Chamois. He was using a Tikka 7MM08 with 140 grain Nosler Ballistic tips. Check out the first shot, you can see the bullet in flight. The sun was directly above and behind the Chamois which were only just standing in the shade. The sunlight caught the bullet in flight- something I have not seen before.... enjoy

I'm with Steve7mm08, if we don't shoot them they end up rotting on the valley floor after the helicopters are done whether young or old so aren't they better utilised for the meat than wasted and left to the ferrets and rats?

Bloody oath mate, i'm with you. Some people don't understand how well animals such as chamois and thar thrive over here and that the helicopters don't descriminate.
