Just released by Sanyo in 12-1-08, Eneloop powered electric assisted bicycle. It switches automatically to recharging mode when it goes down hill.

Be careful if you have aluminum forks, I understand they will stress crack and come apart. You haven't had fun until your front tire comes off at twenty mph. You may want to go get a cheep steel one at walmart, costco, etc. They really are a hoot.
