@phantom45m No american white can speak Jamaican patois unless they are around them and try to catch it. And even then it sounds ridiculous. This is way more than dropping off the "s" and not sounding "h". Way more than an accent. Its a language (yes a language), that I speak with pride. And for the record, if you ask Jamaicans speaking patois what language they speak, they will say PATOIS. Not English. The word "nyam", where in the english dictionary can you find it?

@HairH2O ran out of words, meant to say jamaican's region english, and english is a language influence heavily by other languages, the jamaican version is more influence by african and south europe, latin america (portugal,puero rico), puerto rico mainly becuase like puerto rican(S) unstandard speaking in jamaica wont say the "s" at the end of words

@journimommy so this "patois language" that you're so proud of, do you know they speak it all over america? i'm not chattin of the west indians that live there either. americans, and the majority white speak patois, like the patois in usa south and appalacian. They speak like you? i bet if you ask wat language they speak they'll say english, even though subtitles come on screen when they talk.and yeah REGIONAL ENGLISH, cause Patois means regional french so jamaica patois is english
