FLASHPOINT Synopsis:

207 "Perfect Storm"

Billy Dresden (Calum Worthy) is a shy, sensitive teen whos had enough. Hes been bullied everyday for a year, called every name under the sun, and cant take it anymore. Team One is called in when he brings a gun to school bent on murderous revenge. In addition to the chaos of a locked down high school filled with panicked students, the team must deal with a cop who takes the law into his own hands when he learns his son is trapped inside the school. The team races to track Billy down before its too late.



THE SRU

The Strategic Response Unit is a team of cops like no other theyre the elite, the blueblood of the force. High risk is their business and life-and-death stakes are their world.

The SRU team is also unique; they rescue hostages, bust gangs, defuse bombs, climb buildings, see through walls and talk down suicidal teens. It takes years on the street, intense physical conditioning and elite marksmanship to qualify for the SRU.

The team uses state-of-the-art equipment sniper rifles, snake-cameras, robots, flash-bangs, night-vision and tasers. But beyond all of the cool gadgetry, the most important weapons in their arsenal are human intuition, a gift for words and their ability to read emotion. Each team member is uniquely trained in negotiating, profiling and getting inside a subjects head. They stand out because of the rare balance between lethal hardware and people skills: pure muscle and pure intuition. Theyre the envy of law enforcement everywhere.

I've been watching Flashpoint for a week or so with my parents, watching one episode every night. This was the first one I watched, and it was on TV. One of the best ones I've seen. =D
