The House That Built Me- Caitlin covers Miranda Lambert

I know, I know. This is a country song. Here's the story behind why I decided to cover it:
Dad (who listens to country music) was listening to the country station on Sirius satellite radio. This song came on. The first time I heard it, I thought it was stupid... going back to the place you grew up in with somebody else living there won't make you feel any better. When I heard it the second time, this song made sense to me. Right now, I'm very reluctant to grow up, to graduate college, to join the adult world. When I go home, I can escape that. I altered the meaning of this song slightly, to fit my own needs. The song talks about going home to find oneself. And sometimes I just need to go home to figure out who I am. That's why I like this song. That's why I decided to cover The House That Built Me, maybe it will speak to you too.
