@kangaroosbraun It will be some time maybe but Carter will one day be remembered as being a good president. He had nothing to do with the high interest rates that occurred during his administration. He did great things while in office and he continues to do so as well as does his wife. Decent and good people don't get the headlines - very sad that good deeds don't get the attention that scandal does.

That's great, about the Carter Center intern. People with disabilities need to be treated as PEOPLE, not as the butt of jokes.

Rosalynn Carter was pure class with a capital C.....Her obvious dislike of the vacuous and self important Nancy Reagan is 'legend'..Who could forget the way she greeted Nancy at the White House, leaving her with a White House aide after only about 10 minutes (Priceless)
....Jimmy Carter was a great great man and an underappreciated President but Rosalynn was one of the greatest ever of First Ladies. Long may she Live......
