Patient has right homonymous hemianopsia with apparent "blindsight." Vision therapy activity: Playing the game "Birdwatching" on Lumosity.com website. Central fixation is controlled and verified by simultaneous presentation of central target (letter) and peripheral target (bird). Fixation is confirmed with accurate recall of letter presented. Accuracy on targets in his "blind" visual field is *better* than accuracy in seeing field. Hemianopsia is due to occipital lobe infarct, sparing non-conscious vision processed through mid-brain at the superior colliculus.

  • Just scored 32150 on this... My new personal record - wonder who has the top score?

  • Guys, its not about learning the bird's names, it's about the accuracy of matching your crosshairs onto the blue dot of the appearing bird. The number of pixles closest to your bluedot determine your points. Recognizing the letter in the center simultaneously is also equally important.
