@TheLinkmaster12345 Windwaker's gameplay mechanics felt familiar to me when I first played it. The only major change which was the large focus on sailing, which is a change I can understand some people wouldn't quickly acclimate to.
The graphics may have been cel-shaded, but the monster and character designs were still pure Legend of Zelda fare.
I think the largest issue people really had with the game was that *insert name* and Tetra were not the same Link and Zelda.

@d4rthm4lak yes, in tht sense, but in keeping with the series' tradition and overall feel, it didnt match up. Originality can be brilliant only if one can portray it in a user-friendly and familiar way. not become completely radical and foreign to what ppl are used to. especially if ur in a business, change doesnt happen overnight.

The whole storyline in LoZ has always been meh.
Windwaker is still the most original and fun game in the series.
