Laney LC15 external cab

short demo of Laney LC15 with external cab celestion V30. This little amp can seriously rock with a quality cab. Great recorded tones, at strictly bedroom levels. Compare the sound to my other video, which was done with the internal speaker

Watched your other demo of this amp, both excellent. Do you use pedals with this amp? Does this amp 'like' pedals?

@jadriverable I never used OD/dist pedals with it. I imagine they would work pretty good though

@jadriverable Generally I use a Zakk Wylde OD+Big muff with PI wicker in front of this amp. It works pretty good, but it is not necessary, I just use it to take easier to play it live in some small places, because this amp has only one channel. Belive me, do NOT buy this amp, if you thinking about it. I had some big problems with the PCB's weldings and Laney did not solved the problem, need to re-do all the soldering points by myself.

@jadriverable I have. I've used a Boss DS-2, an Ibanez TS-9, and a TECH-21 American Woman. They sounded marvelous with the amp at any setting. Essentially you would need them if you wanted to play live and still have a clean tone, and the amp accepts the pedals well. Also, this amp seems to really like single coils as much as humbuckers.

@jadriverable I use Tube Screamer 808 with it. That's nice sound. When I play loud and set more input gain, I can do even metal :)
