Grinderman is some what less radio friendly therefor Isn't bound in the same ways as a band like Franz, in Song Duration for instance &.....

Hey after all the ammunition I fired off for you, I would've expected a more creative response.I like Franz Ferdinand, I'm playing a bit of a devils advocate here... But Tony Son you are one fickel Son of a bitch, Franz are a very mainstream, Contemperary outfit, to be considered as such, famously inhibits creativity... The fact that GdMan are a non-contempary band, means they have less pressure on them to produce (RF)Unit Shifters and greater licence to work with more complex composition's.

...lyrical creativity, clearly not a boundary that holds grinderman back. However, some bands prefer to remain slightly more subtle with how 'odd' their lyrics get, and others are creative in much more sophisticated ways (e.g Franz Ferdinand). You can't really judge a band purely on their lyrical creativity (and for that reason I won't say that is why I think Franz are better than Grinderman). It is all just a matter of opinion of course, but on the basis of the 2 band's performances...
