This movie is really one of my all-time favorites, even if it is from 1947. I think Gene Tierney is absolutely beautiful and she gave a stunning performance here, and Rex Harrison as Captain Gregg is flawless. I think this song goes perfectly along the storyline of the movie, and I tried to steer clear of effects and stuff for this video, because it didn't need it.
Plot: Simply put, recently-widowed Lucy Muir moves into a house haunted by the dashing ghost of a sea captain, with whom she inevitably falls in love.
Song: "Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling.

Great post. Thanks so much. Such a well done film. Gene Tierney was great as was Rex Harrison. George Sanders practically invented "the cad" and brought it off beautifully. The movie itself was a masterpiece with great photography, direction and a musical score to die for.

Another role Gene should have won an Oscar for.It's a shame she was so neglected.I think
she would have been saluted if she had not been the most beautiful woman to ever live.People
just wouldn't believe somebody with such beauty could also be so talented.we can't let her be

I am very happy you made a vid with The ghost and Mrs Muir. I love this movie. The story is interesting and I absolutely adore the interpretation of Harrisson. I love him as a ghost. ^^

Oh, I know. Rex Harrison was definitely my favorite part about the movie. His character was just brilliant.
