In this video tutorial, I will be showing you how to unlock and enable fan control (If you run SpeedFan for the first time).

NOTE TO KEEP IN MIND: Even if all these instructions are followed exactly, there are some hardware requirements your computer needs to have for it to work. It must have a hardware monitoring chip that is able to control fan speeds, and it must have the physical hardware circuitry on board.

  • i don't find my ''Software conrolled'' please help!!!

  • @robinbrandt What options do you have on that drop down list?

  • @1nDrumMajor I have the same issue as robinbrandt. In the drop down list, the one with the most options is SB 7xx/8xx PM2 etc... but theres nothing about changing it to software enabled

  • @yourass117 some computers don't have "Software Controlled", it's usually something similar though, like "manual" or "user" or something like that. *Not all computers have the ability for users to control speeds. If you can't find it, just look around your chip settings within the advanced tab.
