@lpgurlnj You decision is your own. I would just recommend using the numbing cream (it takes a full 30 minutes to reach its max numbness) and then get a penile nerve block (it is a shot). Many doctors don't take the time to wait for the numbing effects for the medicine to work. It is purely cosmetic. But regardless be your children's advocate and make sure the Dr waits long enough for the pain meds to set in. You or your hubby should go with your son to be sure they are waiting long enough.

@anjomi86 Well I'm getting my sons circumcised when they're born with anesthesia so they won't get any germs or any diseases under the foreskin. Bitch.
-
@lpgurlnj Its not an opinion, it is facts. Look it up for yourself. I also love that you resort to name calling.
-
@anjomi86 I didn't ask for your opinion, dummy.

@Newyorkgurl20 Women have more folds and baby girls get many more UTIs and women get bacterial infections constantly.......Yet we aren't getting circumcised!
-
@lpgurlnj Tell me how is a raw wound (lasts up to a week or more) cleaner when in constant contact with feces and urine? But the foreskin is fused to the head of the penis (and doesn't separate until ages 2- or into the teen years) to keep germs OUT!. You need to be the one to educate yourself on the matter.

@lpgurlnj Babies CAN feel pain when they are born! This is an old myth that doctors believed for the longest time. Babies nerves are actually extremely sensitive since their bodies are still developing and growing. They suffer extreme pain from circ....even with pain meds its not numb.
-
@batreyu421 It's not supposed to hurt. Babies can't feel immediate pain when they're just born.
-
Circumcision is to keep bacteria and germs from getting into the penis. That's why the foreskin is taken off. Get educated idiots!

oh my goodness your son is so adorable!!! looking at him and seeing his lil feet and hands hes so precious. you look pretty good for having just gave birth =)
And another thing, it's not "fixing" a child. A child is not a dog and the two procedures are completely different with different purposes. Sickos

Seriously what's the big friggin deal? If she wants her child to be circumsized then that's fine. She's not putting her child in mortal danger and it's beneficial in the long run when the child grows up. Are you people going to boycott getting vaccinations and going into surgery in general too? Because it's painful? Geez get over yourselves.
