Faces of hungry and severely malnourished children are more often associated with the northern parts of the country that is currently experiencing hunger. But here at the heart of Nairobi many children are said to be without food foods for days making their plight nothing less than that of other children in rural areas. Irene Choge visited Korogocho slums and now brings us the reality of the less talked about urban hunger.
I do agree things can get tough @ times. There are thousands of kids in such situatiions, even our own relatives. It breaks my heart coz I we can't help( and so is GoK ) everyone.
I'm of the view that couples should approach this issue of ..... with a sober mind. Bringing up kids in such situation ends up being expe in the long run. It is so stressing.
I mean we'd rather make luv than make babies......

@mcmagicx: I hear you and understand what you mean... but for the mean time, these kids need to be saved! We cannot let them go hungry and die.. You know GOK works at snail's pace and by the time they implement rural areas urbanization, cases like these will be long forgotten since the victims might or will be dead!!

@NusuKappeti Will you help the kids for the next 20yrs?The only solution is urbanizing the rural areas or resorting to cannibalism.
