Naxxramas (10) - Thaddius (Widescreen HD) (February 1st, 2009)

Naxxramas 10 man raid on February 1st, 2009. Filmed from perspective of a hunter (me). Groups are divided into two sides fighting on each platform during first phase. Each of the two mobs must die within seconds of each other, which is why we're calling out to slow down each side. Both mobs must stay on their platform - if they go down a ramp, you die. Tanks from each side are periodically being tossed, so taunt sharing is in play. For phase 2, if you miss the jump to Thaddius, you can go back and try again, you'll just be delayed while everybody fights. Someone almost always misses it. For Thaddius, we're getting positively charged players on the right and negative on the left. Players of the same charge must immediately change to the side they're charged for or people start dying big time. We're largely crossing through the center for this 10 man version. Battle rez in tanks as required. Other than that, it was easy and lots of fun. Some visible add-ons/mods to the interface are Deadly Boss Mods and Omen Threat Meter. The audio comes from a Ventrilo chat server.

Yeah, it's all being taken down by Warner Brothers and Universal anyway, so there's no point. I'm trying to give a more honest and straightforward look at what the encounter is actually like to play. No sped up footage or overdubbed music.

One thing you did wrong is that you ran through the boss. If someone with the same charge as you ran through the boss at the same time it would create a static shock or w/e, if everyone always ran to the right of the boss then charges would never cross. Other than that this was pretty good for the most part.

No man, it's cool. You're absolutely right. I started keying into this a lot more in the past week and I've been using it exactly like you've been talking about. As I've been gearing up more and more, I've been causing more and more threat, occasionally taking threat away from tanks, especially in situations like Thaddius. I've also been using it a lot to save my butt when a boss is running around wiping the rest of the raid. Beats repair bills - that's for sure.
