Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, spoke to FRANCE 24 on the eve of his intended departure for New York to discuss the Iranian nuclear programme at the UN Security Council. The Iranian President later cancelled his trip citing visa complications. The interview is conducted by renowned journalist Ulysse Gosset. The interview discusses various aspects relating to Iran and the current world political arena such as Iran's nuclear programme, the infamous quotation from Ahmadinejad on Israel, relations with US, Britain and the EU.

Far from showing what you seem to be implying, what the quote actually points to is what most of this planet seems to be saying as well, namely: that the US employs double-standards in its foreign policy. America plays god's role on Earth and is the criterion between good and evil.

@jimiydoorshamelech Even half-witted mediocres know that Ahmedinejad's mention of the Holocaust was in order to reveal its deep politicization. In the European pysche, the holocaust has become a meta-historical event, which necessarily shapes perspectives in the here and now.

1) Israeli infallibility; 2) European sense of guilt and need for redemption; 3) No suffering equivalent to the Jews (exchanged for Israelis) etc etc.
