can dutch even smoke in coffeeshops these daze? Heard there was a smoking ban in all public places. Can anyone elaborate on this for me as i'm going in 2 weeks..

C/S 36 and Grey Area were my favorite. Just stopped thru to pick up some green @ Dampkring. Nice place tho. Look forward to going back and chillin there someday.

Every time someone asks me about coffeeshops in Amsterdam, I tell them to go to Da Dampkring. Dampkring is hands down best in the city. I really enjoy the Grey Area as well.

de dampkering is the coolest coffeshop, a bit crowded, but still one of my faves!

I love Dampkring. First place we went to when we arrived at 10:00 AM. For some reason everytime we walked around we ended back at Dampkring. It was like homebase. BTW it is the coffeeshop in Oceans 12 and filmed at the table we sat at that morning. Kind of cool. I get all happy just seeing videos of A-dam
