  • The truth is........ there are no words that can describe how beautiful karen's voice really is.

  • When I was a young girl, I wanted to sing like Karen Carpenter. When she died, I was barely 22 and I was devastated. RIP Karen. Your songs will live forever.

  • I remember being just a little girl, five years old in 1997, telling my mom that I wanted to meet Karen Carpenter/go to a Carpenters concert, and my mom had to tell me she was dead -and had died almost nine years before I was born. That crushed me, my spirit, but that day, it made her singing all the more special to me. My dream now, and I'm soon coming to be living it, is to be a drummer, just like she was. R.I.P., Karen. You'd be 62 this year, if you were still here.

  • Too bad California has been invaded by illegal immigrants now. Los Angeles used to be nice.

  • Too bad California is full of illegal immigrants now. They've ruined the city.

  • @Grlsinger47 Imagine if her brother hadn't trashed her solo work..she would have made a great solo artist. Anyone with ears can tell she was the real talent of the Carpenters

  • Karen Carpenter would have been 60 this year.

I can only imagine how beautiful she would have been today.

I will always love her for all the music she gave to the world.

Always in our hearts here, Karen.

  • The best female voice in history !
