Story :: Tanaka Akiko is a 5th grader: living with her mom, friends, school, family. Except ... her family's a little different. Akiko is the youngest of the Tanaka line of Guardians - shapeshifters who keep peace between the human and animal worlds. Yes, most of the other friends and family she has are Guardians, exept for her immediate family. With her father having passed away and her mother's memory of living in the animal world fading, it's up to this little kid to keep balance between every living thing. Is it something she was born to do, or something she will take upon herself?
