A good exercice to improve and get minimal movements on the pad is to position an item (here a bottle but back in old times I used some cactus plants LOL) halfway on a given arrow -here the top arrow but you can do it on all 4 arrows at once for optimal results- and just focus on not touching the damn thing.
I did touch it couples of times throughout this Chromatic Blitz run but only slightly and it mostly stayed into place so I was indeed forced into staying minimal throughout the song :) and of course the score was shitty in the end but that's not very important here.
You want to do that on songs that have high bpm streams or just hardcore jumps, not something too much easy otherwise you would have too much time thinking about your feet. Do this for a couple of times and you should acquire better positioning.
Then all you have to do is moving the object closer and closer to the center pad until you get the minimal distance you are aiming at ;)
@AniAddictDaisuken well thanks for the insight! I named the video "Tip 1" so I clearly let the door open to more videos like that. Considering how people actually enjoy those tips, I will definitely try to make more of these videos, thanks again ;)

Hmm... I was actually thinking about how awesome would that be if you do more of these "training" videos~

@AZNCIess exactly, what Calimist does :) I was doing it for a moment and it locked my body very well. Then I saw Dark Xuxa doing the exact opposit and I stopped doing it lol. The conclusion is: doing like Calimist is good for locking your movements, but I find it more tiring for arms ^_^. anyway give it a shot, and you're welcome my man!

I somehow knew about holding the bar in the center because calimist always did that.... should try it when I pick up itg again! thanks for your tips man!

@princejow77 yes I have some tips :) first you could use the "bottle" technique on the left and right arrows. That will force you to keep your feet straight and therefore your body straight too. Second thing you can do is keeping both hands at the center of the bar (almost one against the other) instead of the sides, it will be painful for your arms at the beginning but it "locks" your body and constraints your hips rotation. Later on you can switch back to "normal" arm position. Let me know !
