Ricky was a young boy He had a heart of stone Lived 9 to 5 and worked his fingers to the bone Just barely out of school Came from the edge of town Fought like a switchblade So no one could take him down Oh no He had no money Oooh no good at home He walked the streets a soldier And he fought the world alone And now it's 18 and life you got it 18 and life you know Your crime is time and its 18 and life to go 18 and life you got it 18 and life you know Your crime is time and it's 18 and life to go

Amazing. Really too bad they don't let the contestants sing real music on Idol.
-
@thecomfortisnow I wanna know why the hell he keeps singing that muse song~! SO BAD!!!
-
Very cool..love it! I knew I heard a hint of Sebastian Bach in his voice!
-
@thecomfortisnow because the producer's are stupid and wouldn't let him perform it, he wanted to though on top 12 night

@kimberlyrae1969 I agree with you. The majority of America (actually the world) is missing a chromosome when it comes to music. How else do you explain all the crappy pop acts which gain success, and rap & country being the most lucrative genres. But if that keeps rock and metal from being mainstream, I guess I am ok with it. If they played Slayer on morning radio, it might lose something. So "F" the mainstream!
