Mobility is key to survival on the ground . This DVD shows great exercises to develop mobility and core-strength, how to quickly get back up from the floor while leaving your hands free, how to work against stamps and kicks and how to strike and takedown from the floor.

  • Полный бред....

  • @kastetx Not really, just some basic ground movements

  • Cool...but what if you finish THIS training ONLY the "Ground Mobility" ? Whenever you get yourself in a fight you start it by falling on the ground becouse this is the best way you know how to fight?jsut joking very nice basics...

  • @kepasolt haha - best keep training lol. Yep, these drills are a starting point to develop skills that feed into later work

  • it's amazing how 4 basic (but vital) points are avoided in many MA's...

    1) it's best to remain on your feet

    2) that's not always possible - so be ready and able to fall without causing serious injury

    3) on the ground, have the tools to ensure you can give them the same disadvantage quickly

    4) make sure you also have practised a skill that will get you upright quickly, without compromising your ability to defend yourself.

good someone is thinking about these issues seriously - very useful!

  • @prodigypenn no worries, there are a lot of things in systema that are not immediately obvious, especially when watching. If you get the opportunity I'd recommend giving it a try with a good instructor, will make things clearer.

  • @perten thanks for clarifying, but i stil dont get it, maybe ill rewatch a few more times, see if anything starts making sense

  • @patrickhenrysghost Yep that's a common reaction from people who never actually turn up to take us on

  • @prodigypenn that training is also useful in that it is very good conditioning / core strength work and is something that can be practiced solo. Good ground mobility feeds into ground work / grappling as well as self defence situations

  • @prodigypenn I agree, if you are on the ground then most times you want to get back up asap. However what you see here are drills to help teach ground mobility. If you get caught on the ground you need to know how to move - including getting back up. Each drill focusses on one aspect, so in that case the other guys are there to provide encouragement for you to move, it is not a tactical drill. You then need to put those skills into sparring, scenarios or pressure drills.

  • I dont see how this could possibly be useful. maybe im not understanding the concepts behind the training, because i see alot of stuff that i dont get. like being surrounded by 4 guys and u practice rolling around as tho that will be useful, the way i see it if u r surrounded by several people and ur on the ground, ur in deep shit, and the first thing u should think of isnt necessarilly trying to fight back, but not getting ur brain smeared on someones shoe

  • systema is the real deal... if you stick to the basic pricipals of breathing and relaxed muscle and joint movements you can get very good very quickly. there is no burden of techniques or styles to think about.. you simply just free your mind and move with the flow. Systema for life!!! Awesome stuff guys

  • @bungmuffin lol who said it doesn't look hard :P
