  • Lyrics (High complexity old Austrian Yodler Song) "For whoever knows the area where they burn the iron, where the Enns (river) rushes through the valley, yes, with full joy the heart is beating in the chest, as the echo resounds through mountains and valleys." Note: After this performance, it became difficult for the long-established Yodeling experts to argue that M.O. was merely a very successful entertainer, as this is an "advanced" song, requiring considerable skill, as you can hear.

  • Now I have seen the Best! Melanie you are it! I stop wishing for more because I have seen it! Be proud of your career and your familiy!!!!!

  • Such a pretty song!

  • @Oesch47 It would be cool, I think, if we could find relatives of ours living in Europe. I'd like to connect with those places my family came from. We tend to forget our "old-country" origins here in America, but when we do that, I think we lose something precious.

  • @ndvcxkk Thank you for sharing the lyrics!

  • @DougDreamCatcher Well technically all Oesch's are distantly related but I'm not directly related. I'm American haha.

  • @1habicher I agree 100%.

  • @Svenovich1 I have seen and heard the original 7-minute version and it is worth watching! The other two ladies seem to be welcoming Melanie into their ranks with open arms, and they seem deeply happy to have a young singer in the next generation to carry this music forward. Things like this mean a lot.

  • @Oesch47 Nice to "meet" you! We share a lot of favorite music artists, you and I. Are you of any relation to Melanie and her family?

  • @prosperousyogi I remember looking at an old Barton County, Kansas record showing my great-grandfather Franz Peschka, arriving in Kansas from Austria, if I remember correctly, in 1882. Melanie's singing of this song from Austria is very close to home for me, and I want to learn more about my family's European roots now.

  • du siehst meiner cousine enlich sie ist auch soooo hübsch wie du ich lerne bereits jodeln
