It's not that I want to make you feel bad, but take another look. The dried and dessicated [another $20 word!] paws were obviously not made in a factory ... or they'd be uniform; and they're not carved and covered with modern-day faux fur ... or they'd probably have more of a cartoony aspect. They NEVER move any of the individual clawed digits, and in many cases the way the dried dog-leg dried left it more or less "curled" in a horrific death pose. Pt 2 ... skin hats, whale baleen girdles, real dead pirds in hats, head and feet on in mink and fox stoles, and every kind of fur imaginable ... why would saving the parts of "euthanized" (killed) pound dogs for use in bizarre films about talking, hymanized dogs be surprising? Didn't your great-grandmother have an old fox stole in the attic? The dried, bent feet tell the tale. My folks have a folk art piece hanging in the hall ... made entirely of our ancestor's human hair. It's our culture.
