It's not that I want to make you feel bad, but take another look.  The dried and dessicated [another $20 word!] paws were obviously not made in a factory ... or they'd be uniform; and they're not carved and covered with modern-day faux fur ... or they'd probably have more of a cartoony aspect. They NEVER move any of the individual clawed digits, and in many cases the way the dried dog-leg dried left it more or less "curled" in a horrific death pose.
