Each year for the past many years, I participate in the Ride For Karen, a charity century ride through the rural communities just north west of Toronto. Many times, I've commented how awesome the route is, in particular one hilly, windy stretch that cuts through a glade of cedars and how that some day, it would be amazing to live in the area. Imagine my surprise when I turned the corner onto my street on Saturday afternoon and found the route signs for the Ride For Karen strapped to the stop signs and telephone poles en route to my house. I had no idea until the day before this years ride that each year, the Ride for Karen passed by our new place up in the hills. Here's a short video of the ride passing by our house this year on 9.12.2010.
