AMAZING TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE STILL BELIEVE IN THE OFFICIAL STORY. @nw8000 -- WORD! The Board of Trade inquest was a major conspiracy cover-up right there, as defendants they absolved themselves of responsibility for numerous safety & certification issues. I'm open to switch-thesis becuz much evidence can't easily be dismissed, tho questions remain. Over 15 yrs I've studied & learned how integral deep conspiracy is to our society. On deeper thought one can see many similiarities here w/ 911 & how people can be unwittingly used & made party to crime & cover-up.

@JayuDark -- Of course, it was a laughably abbreviated 1/2 day sea-trial instead of scheduled 8 weeks, that in itself is extremely sus -- the inspectors NEVER EVEN WENT BELOW into engine/boiler spaces where hard-use signs would have been obvious. I think its impossible Olympic officers sailing on Titanic wouldn't notice something amiss, unmistakeable signs of familiarity. What would induce them to go-along w/ evident fraud & possible sinister purpose? Intimidation, threats, assurances of rescue?

While VERY intriguing & provocative, w/ far more supporting evidence than can be easily dismissed, the biggest problems I see are: LACK of extensive repairs which were done to Olympic after collision w/ warship Hawke & signs of damage should/would have been noticed & provoked rumours. Titanic was modified w/ covered Promenade deck to eliminate spray-hazard, had expanded accomodation for 100 more 1st class passengers & flat-front Bridge (vs Olympic's semi-curved). Are these differences explained?
