To those unfortunate and misguided humans who have posted rude comments here, I quote Viktor Frankl, who is quoted in this video by Ms. Fonda: "Everything you have in life can be taken from you except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation. This is what determines the quality of the life we've lived. Not whether we've been rich or poor, famous or unknown, healthy or suffering. What determines our quality of life is how we relate to these realities..."

She is wonderful, one shouldn't stand up for their country simply because it is their country if it is doing bad things.

She speaks of choosing to forgive ourselves and others in her speech. Let us choose to forgive ourselves and others. It is the only way to truly find peace in the world. The peace we all truly want.

Really, Liam? Only if you believe it is patriotic to support some sort of divine right of the US to own and control the entire planet. I, for one, don't think so. Neither did Jane when she went to Hanoi in 1972. Check out snopes.com for info on how she was wrongly smeared after her visit there, the purpose of which was to do her part, as a conscientious American, to try and stop the war: snopesdotcom/military/fondadotasp
