Hi Taticapelli. Only saw your message now. There are lots of beautiful spaces in Joburg, a great vibe and fantastic people. Yes there is crime, and at the moment, there is much political upheaval with the ruling party fighting amongst themselves, but it's a great place to live. Come see for yourself!!

I'm looking for information on Jo'burg. would you give me a little help? There's a chance I might live there and would like to know more about life in Jozi.from what I've heard n read, itseems to be a dangerous city and to my surprise, not very beautiful (some videos show only dirty streets and old buildings). Is this true?

I'd be really grateful if you could give me a little "light", cause all I know is that some neighbourhoods likeHoughton r not bad.

woooooohhoooooooo! long live south africa! it was so strange whn I saw sandton in there because I went there yesterday, and the then a market at rosebank.(i CANT spell I don't know why I find this so weird??? The food court and the square and the statue lol. haha and wimpy and nandos and McDoodles (McDonadls or Maccie D's) Woolies! ha i was in there yesterday as well, louis vuitton... sorry i just had to write this comment...im insane

i do like the videos they take me back and the video doesnt have to look like you work CNN for me to appreciate it ... please post more if you can and i agree with Sandtonista if you did this on foot you would probably be still filming i think you did a great job !!!

South Africa is an amazing country. In a car, in the mall who cares?

if whitespiritflower did this on foot, he/she would still be filming. Joburg's a big city, with larger municipal boundaries than Los Angeles. A rather gross generalisation on Ralonsoc's part... If he/she wants to see South Africa from outside a car, suggest a search on 'Table Mountain', 'Clifton', 'Tiffendal' or other mall-less or car-less locations. Pixelation aside, I this is a great 'snap' of Joburg's northern suburbs. Rolnsoc's comment is kind of pointless - as Joburg is a 'car city'.
