You listen. If ,,disintegration] cube still render You change in boolean(cup)from union to difference

You know what? This lesson gave me the idea I was looking for!

You know what sucks? I did this, took 3 hours to get set it up, got it perfect on the first try, and was about to render an animation when suddenly, Blender stops responding and the choice "wait for program to respond" was not on the warning menu.
I almost cried.

@A7XRules4life I have the exact same problem! Somone Please help!
-
I found out the problem, with the cube appearing. You have to have the normals facing the right direction, you know, pressing W then flip normals, or try Ctrl+N... The video is great by the way.
-
@NionsChannel Im with them, Followed exactly but the cube is still rendered. The cube seems to be the same as the object...as if its a parent, or its the same object...but its obviously not.
-
dude, i foolowed your steps perfectly, but the glow line is always there, even when its above the cup, and the box that parents to the glow is visible even though i made it so it doesnt render. can you help ?
-
is it possible to make it glow even without the composite nodes?
-
I just see black on my viewer node in the UV/Image Editor. Is that breaking or can I just not worry about it and go on?

Try out different boolean settings for your object, which disappears... its probably not the cube

@NionsChannel hi thx for the tutorial, i found it very helpful. however, the cube still shows up in the render. why is this happening? i followed everything in the tutorial. also, as soon as i add the boolean modifiers everything gets very slow and laggy. why does this happen? pls reply back when you get the chance, as i would very much appreciate it. thanks again! (PS, do you know any other cool special effects for blender?)

So you turned of the renderability and you also tried different boolean settings? I don't know what else could go wrong... well you can try to move the cube to a different layer, which isn't rendered. But I bet it's because of the boolean settings again.
The modifier can consume a lot of performance and it can become laggy... thats normal. But once you've got the correct settings you could disable it in the interactive display.
And of course I know quite some more special effects ;)

how would u make the cup reappear again? just repeat the step?

It's the same animation, with the same composite only into the other direction. You can either duplicate the cup and the cubes or move them while they're invisible.
