accordin' 2 the lyric & considerin' the earlier songs "chompa battambang" &
"chompey seamreab", this song should
have been named "chompa
battambang 2".
i believe samouth thought the name
"chompa battambang 2" was 2 clumsy, so he adopted "kolarb battambang" & used "kolarb" instead of "chompa" in the lyric.
"chompa battambang", "chompey
seamreab", & "kolarb battambang", in that order chronologically, show that
"kolarb battambang" was the same girl as "chompa battambang".

1st chompa battambang, then chompey seamreab, 2 whom he complained that chompa battambang ignored him, then kolarb battambang, yeah yeah back 2 battambang, sayin' that he returned 2 it after 10 years, that he heard that kolarb battambang is more beautiful than chompey seamreab. samouth must have been a "prean neary", d'ohh!!
anyway, beautiful song. samouth simply showed his love 4 all of cambodia.
but, 1 thing i aint understand, why has he never sung about his home province steung trehng?
