Did the chicken processor actually kill your cornish hens? Was there a trade? You left your cornish hens to be raised by the processor, and then left with hens the chicken proscssor had raised and slaughtered?

I drop them off in the morning and pick them up later that day after he had completed processing them. I raised the birds.

yeah, i would feel sorry at that moment there, saying "bye" to them and thinking I'd have them in my tummy soon... i suppose knowing they had a decent life (unlike those in the supermarket) is at least a consolation. beautiful video, bravo.

I love the old stories of how people used to live, off nothing but what they produced, my mother and grandparents, were just the same.

All I can say is it's worth going back to basics more nutrition whether it's poultry, beef, fruits, veggies, ect. it's all about back to basics in my book great video by the way! keep it up!

Over 20 years ago I was involved with California Raptor Rescue. Monthly we would go to Petaluma and buy 10,000 baby chicks to feed to the Great Horned Owls and other raptors. The point of the program was to save wounded birds and abandoned raptor chicks. If we did not do this work the birds would've died.

How do you feel about that? Should we have killed those baby chicks to feed the other birds? Do you have any understanding how life lives on other life?
