@nibed123 No, because it is illegal for an under 5 to be given alcohol at all. That was in another QI, and is because they used to use alcohol on dummys to help/make babies and toddlers sleep. So 0-5 no alcohol, 5-18 no consuming in the bar.

@mm1k3y I dunno, man, "dry" might just be the LAST word I'd use to describe being covered in pie.

The real answer is 0. 5 is older then 0 and the question is what is the youngest age, and the law forbides for children from 5 to 18...

Stephen Fry, David Mitchell, Frankie Boyle and Jimmy Carr.

@TheIdaLouise I'm from Turkey and I too believe that too. In addition to that I think that people like Fry, Geravis, Webb are one of the most intellectual people I've ever seen in my life. You lucky Brits =) Greetings from İstanbul

I won't say that American or British comedy is particularly better than the other, each country has their gold just as well as their shit. That being said, America's shit is worse than Britain's shit (or at least they have a lot more of it- though it's seen more often in the form of reality tv), but my two favourite shows, Arrested Development and South Park, are written by Americans and fairly well respected as far as comedy goes.
