Welcome to Part I of Pirates At The Moulin Rouge (PATMR). First things first: this is a series of POTC MMVs set to the soundtrack of Moulin ROuge. Please do not take the title 'PATMR' literally. Other than that, though, insert a witty disclaimer here and on with the show!
In Part I, you'll get a set up of what PATMR is all about: love, loss, deception and truth. In the very beginning, Will Turner speaks of how his love (Elizabeth) is 'dead' because she fell in love with a rouge pirate (Captian Jack Sparrow.) The story is then assumed by Joshamee Gibbs, and the truly begins our tale.
Will fell in love with Elizabeth Swann, the governor's daughter. He was enamored with her beauty and role in society. Little did Mr. Turner know, though, that the woman he fell in love with was about to change. At first he is too 'shy' to to bring up Lizzie's transformation from good girl to pirating bonnie lass, but once he realizes that he's in love with a woman who no longer exists, he leaves Lizzie at the altar on their wedding day. Vowing revenge, she turns to Cap'n Jack who willingly accepts her offer. First crush Will's heart in revenge and then damage his heartstrings more by 'killing' her partner in crime. As soon as Will's gone, Pirates Jack and Lizzie celebrate a man's heart well-broken and a job well done. But isn't Lizzie supposed fall madly in love with somebody in the end? Stick around for Parts II - XV to find out!
