Footage from the bridge of a Russian scientific research ship in a storm off of Cape Horn. Average sea height 50', average wind speed 65 knots. Note that the bridge is over 100' from the bow of this ship.

  • SUPER VIDEO,BUT WHERE IS SOUND?

  • At the time I had an older Fuji camera, it simply didn't record sound.

  • It is always very difficult to capture the power of a storm at sea both logistically (its hard to stand up straight), and in terms of medium, but I think this gives a nice hint.
