A visit to Azor Bicycles in Hoogeveen, Netherlands.

Azor ( http://www.azor.nl/ ) has been established for ten years. They are a relatively new name in the Netherlands with very high standards of construction.

The video shows traditional bikes as well as bakfietsen and other unusual bikes being made.

Many thanks to Jan Rijkeboer for showing us around his factory.

jegesbubu - the policy of the owner is "to make the bikes' quality their biggest attractor". He also said that his bikes are so affordable compared to Gazelle and Batavus because the latter have so many people working in the office in stead of building the bikes. And as long as the demand is higher that the production, it works. Oh and he said he was not interested in growing. So I guess you have to come over to the Netherlands. Warning, ordering time can be long there too.

    Thanks David,

Now I know where our bikes were born (2 Omas).

We are glad that we own them. They ARE the best all around bikes !
