The context behind this song is absolutely beautiful. Disheartening though that some of the greatest pieces of art is created during such hardships as war. Though, I suppose that just shows that even in our darkest hours there will always be a bit of light. Praying for her lover over seas to return to her, how many people, no matter which side they were on, did the same? We are all connected in that sense. We are all human.
Oh, and because everyone seems to be doing it. Greetings from Canada!
