  • People from all over the world eat "weird" things including the Western world. Eating worms in the Phil is like Americans eating Alligators in parts of the South. It is a select few who eats certain foods, thus a delicacy. Another example, French eat snails, Japanese eat earth worms, Mexicans/Chinese eat rats, etc. etc., but it is not like the widespread norm like the Phil noodle dishes, siopao, menudo, etc.

  • People should be more like him, and not criticizing every single detail.

  • Those worms "o-ok" and the tree worms are very common Aboroginal foods in Australia.

I was from Bicol and we have a family coconut plantation and I always saw the o-ok worms from the dead coconut trees .... but we dont ate them. Only the chicken loves them and the truth is I have no idea that those worms can be eaten, until I meet aboginal people here in Australia.
