Diets are based on restriction, deprivation and denial. I don't care whether it is called "healthy lifestyle" or "healthy eating" if you feel deprived then you will end up bingeing sooner or later. Feeling deprived is 100% connected to the thoughts you use in relation to what you can or can't have when you diet. The end result of deprivation is always (in the end) overeating, guilt and self hatred. Now is the time to begin the attitude of nurturing your body with what it needs and with what you need, without guilt or deprivation. Listen to the messages from your body and really care for yourself - your body will never tell you to overeat, only your mouth does that!
