  • Hi! The only minor detail I would like to add is pointing your right knee outwards. It makes puting the de la riva hook in a lot harder. :)

  • @sawoszao 4:45. Good detail!

  • @TrumpetDanBJJ ha ha ha I'm retarded ;)

  • @sawoszao at least we have something in common

  • Cool. Do you ever x-pass from there?

I've been trying to add this "glued leg to turtling opponent" to my game. Roger does this all the time.

  • @luizsacchi Generally...no. I have experimented with it a lot and I find that the leg lasso is pesky counter to the x-pass in this particular position.

  • Hi trumpet.. thx for this nice video.. i just was reviewing with my instrutor 3 passes for the de la riva and then i see this awsome video... just one question.. (sry i cant get in the arm drag video) when you get the opponents back and spread him on the floor ( 8 points), what choke roger uses? the regular 1 hand on the collar and the other underhook on the other lapel isnt working to me if I dont' escape my hip( roger's get in line with the opponent and still gets the tap)..

    thx again mate

  • That glued leg is awesome and the tip about not getting the hooks very soon is gold.
