  • @chewbaccajoe Yea maybe, maybe not

  • @killakadafi77 The redline has nothing to do with it. College hockey never had a redline and there was not a bunch of head injuries. The players are too big, fast and conditioned for a small ice surface. Maybe after Malkin takes the next hit to the head you will see the error of your thinking.

  • You dont think its possible? Hes been scoring at that rate for the last 2-3 months

  • @chewbaccajoe The head injuries are happening because they took out the red line. There so much speed through the neutral zone now.

thats bull, thats like saying Lemieux and Gretzky are on Joe Thornton's level, or the sedins, or Malkin or Crosby, thats just not true. Gretzky is a genius, hls level of awareness on the ice is unmatched. His precision passing and shooting is what got him his points. Also, mark My words, Malkin will break 150 next year, just to show you how wrong you are.

  • @killakadafi77 120 at the most. You will never see 160 again and that is not because of no Gretzky or Lemieux. It is because that old game is history and the defences of today do not allow it. The reason for all the concussions nowadays is the speed and size of today's players. Mark my words....4 on 4 hockey is coming. It will open up the ice because the owners are not making the surface any bigger. It will happen because of all the head injuries and deaths that are occurring.

  • @chewbaccajoe they both would break 160 at least, and orr would break +80, I know what you mean when you say Sawchuk wouldnt make the teams today, because he doesnt play like goalies today, but i think someone would be willing to take a chance on a goalie with a unique style

  • @killakadafi77 No it just carries some weight. I agree they were the best....I am saying they would not get anywhere near the points they amassed in their time. For perspective I believe Terry Sawchuck to be one of the best goalies to ever play but he sure would not make any of the teams today.

  • Ovechkin, Stamkos, Crosby, Sedin's, think of them, then consider that Gretzky in his prime would break 160 at least, yea now its obvious, he'd still be the best

  • @chewbaccajoe So you met him, that makes you right? i know that players are better, like i said, on average there better, but overall, there are no players in todays game as good as Gretzky, Lemieux or Orr, i love Malkin, have since his rookie season, and he is clearly the best offensive force in hockey, but i know that he isnt as good as Gretzky was, simple as that.

  • Why didn't McSorley beat the crap out of Mess?
