Even though Group B has been gone for almost 24 years now, its hardly gone, isnt it?

It was 3 short years of pure jumping, backfiring, intoxicating, power, noise and history.

I can't imagine what speeds we would be capable of achieveing now, with over 1000bhp available from an engine, advanced composites, and amazingly advanced differentials and AWD systems should Group B be brough back.

i,m a motorbike man, dont care about cars, lamborghinis, ferraris, bugatti, zondas there all bullshit, its 4 wheels and a computer, but this era of cars was discusting, just a man, 3 pedals, a gear stick, and hand break and monster turbo chargers, no technology to correct every mistake you make, just a man sitting on 500+ bph turbo charged engine, kicking the shit out of it non stop to entertain crouds, these were the men that come closest to tt riders in my eyes balls of steal, respect

@mrjck cars won't sounds as majestic. not much else matters. Besides, 2/3 of the magic behind group B is how crude the cars were in spite of unworldly performance. Shit aerodynamics, fixed torque ratio center diff, no hand break, shit engine management, joke safety. Yet those cars, on gravel roads will walls made of people, came to life with fury of a mythical beasts tamed (barely) by their drivers.

A modern group B will be a technofest with cars that just about drive themselves.
