You cannot use the effects from your amp. ALL effects must be before the looper. Whatever you record into your looper will stay that way. I have added loops via computer. You hook your looper to your computer then name the loops the exact same way they are named in the same folders. LOOP in all capitals. Everything the same. If you mess up you can start over by formatting the card in the looper using the looper. instructions are on the back.

yeah i asked someone else and he said the exact same thing so im gonna try that im pretty sure your right. Also, i have a Vox ad100vt and it has on board effects. Is there anyway i can keep the effects on the loop when i change my settings? I dont really see how i could but im new at this so just asking. Also have you added many loops via computer? I tried it and i cant get it to play them for some reason

thank you! I'm not sure why your sound is changing. It may be because your effects pedal is in line between the looper and the amp. Any effects need to be before the looper. Guitar > effects pedal > looper > amp on clean/pa. I hope that helps. Post up vids! I love to see what other people are doing with loops!

very nice job!!! I got a question tho. I just got a digitech jamman pedal today actually and i was wondering how you overdub with a different effect and not change the sound of the loop before. Here is an example, i am working on this song with a high end distortion but everytime i change to a different setting it changes the sound of the loop.

I always enjoy! great job Paul.
Sounds great! How would you rate the JamMan vs the RC-20 Boss loop station. I'm looking to get one but don't know which one is best. One question about the JamMan: some one said that if your first riff is lets say 8 seconds then your second had to match that and not go over, which seems like it would be hard to make sure to end your loop at the right time (8 seconds). Is this true? Thanks

Thanks, My boss has been extremely dependable. A work horse for 6 years without a probmlem. The jamman has glitched a handful of times. The input has gotten glitchy recently on the jamman as well. And it has always been stationary on my board. The jamman however has a USB and records wavs which is a huge benefit. The memory on the jamman is also huge. On the 8 second loop thing - you can't make really short loops onthe jamman. The boss can. Both have strengths and weaknesses.
