As consumers our rights are being taken away because big agribusinesses want to control and dominate the food and the way it's being grown. This is supposed to be the land of the free, yet our rights are being taken away every single day. We have the right to choose real foods instead of being forced to eat factory farmed and genetically modified foods. I'm pretty sure the big companies who are making these evil frankenfoods are sitting at home chowing down on some organic foods as we speak.

Local food producers need to be smarter than this. You need relationships with local cops and a "Right to Farm Ordinance". When the local Sheriff tells the Feds to leave, the Feds have to leave. You need to take back food and commerce on a local basis. Search for Sheriff DeMeo, who sent the Feds Packing to protect a local farmer, even with the threat of force.

@Texas2952 The largest irrigated crop in the US is your lawn. There is more nutrition in that grass then what there is in that meat you're eating. Remove that chemical lawn & replace it with fresh vegetables. Feed yourselves instead of relying on others. People get sick not because of organic produce, but because of toxins and the body reacts by detoxifying. Washing organic and commercial produce removes bacteria...washing commercial produce does not get rid of toxic sprays.

What most people don't realize is that we cannot feed everybody using "organic" farming only.

Organic requires 3 times as much land to produce the same amount of food.

PLUS...if you check, MOST outbreaks of sickness result from organic food.

Go ahead and go organic if you want, but face the fact that if EVERYBODY did it, we would have mass starvation.

This isn't the 1899's anymore.

We have BILLIONS of people to feed.
