Steve Jobs introduces the Apple Remote Control that works with every Macbook, iMac and Mac Mini. A small remote that looks like an iPod Shuffle The most dazzling thing about the future of home entertainment is all the things it can do and this can get confusing BUT NOT WITH A MAC.

  • i got an apple remote control, and gosh it sucks

  • one of the few failure keynotes of Steve in my opinion

  • I just got to say that why is apple making a small remote "SIZE MATTERS"

  • this remote is similar to the Microsoft Zune HD dock remote !!!

  • mine says zzzzzz when i press the play button is the battery dead or what mr jobs

  • Okay Mr, Jobs, show me how to record, play radio, eject the DVDs and change from 2.4 to 23.029 channel with the six bottom then.

I own a MacBook Pro for writing, and PC for Media Home Center.

  • @techkidguru press menu and select the channel about 2 maybe 3 seconds of time

  • @GenieCommands Will it spell check your posts too, you "shear" genius you... haha ;o)

  • This video has to be one of the most stupid comparisons I've ever seen - remotes with lots of buttons that immediately operate a specific function are, apparently, funny compared with a little two button job that requires all sorts of menus to get to what you want - like comparing a Landcruiser with a Smart car.

  • So, apparently, Apple is about only being able to do simple things on one or two applications, while Microsoft is about being able to do many things on many different applications?

After all, that Remote only works on a select few Apple products, the ones he was comparing it to worked on many things, like computers, televisions, etc.
