Just one of hundreds of animations discussed in my Book /DVD on Amazon :- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Animation-Handy-Guide-Sheila-Graber/dp/1408102838 Commissioned by the Tate Gallery for their 1977 Blake Exhibition.Set to Carmina Burrana (YEARS before Michael Jackson and later X Factor made it a household sound) it follows "The Poets" journey from Heaven to Hell and back..showing that "Energy is Eternal delight and whether we create of destroy-it's the same energy."

  • i dont understand what happened. can someone please explain to me.by the way i like ur vids sheila graber :)

  • @ra23wr Blake was a bit of a crazy guy a true artist. In the movie I have used his images and ideas to show how the "poet figure" - or crazy guy wins out over the logical , solid man of reason. Blake would like your crazy webcam self-portrait video-really animated!- Hope this helps explain what's going on here.

  • @sheilagraber sort of.how do u make the vids?

  • @ra23wr I have just posted "making a film" to hopefully answer your question. I now use computers - but most of the stuff you see (including Blake) on my channel was created exactly as described in this movie.

  • what is the song

  • It's a bit of Carmina Burana by Carl Orff..when I used it in

1977 it was not heard of - now it is played all over the place when folks want to appear important e.g. the X Factor ..would be good behind an Xbox game too!

  • Never has the fine line between genius and madness been more clearly illustrated than in the case of William Blake. It is characters like Blake that make me proud to be English.

  • Nice animation. I have been a W Blake lover... and i truly appreciate that you took some time making a video like this in his honor... Blessing to you... Keep on sharing... :)

  • its simple eventually you will be naked , so might as well get naked now!If you have a big brow or tattos then you arev the bad guys, if you resemble a toon that has feathers then you are safe. lol great music by the way

  • Northrop Frye, famously said:" Read Blake, or go to Hell. That's my message to the modern world." Blake wrote in the late 18th century, Frye in the middle of the last; and still the message/wisdom is not heard. The fires of the Inferno are at the edge of our little global village, and everyone is glued to the screen.

  • Oh this just NEEDS more views! Fabulous bit of work!

  • Realmente profundo y conmovedor el trabajo de Blake.

  • Beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with the rest of the world!

  • beautiful
