I am certain that you upon reading his book will gain a positive view of his work, no matter what your religious conviction. I really have enjoyed the way the science is presented in the work. I trust that you do not know who David Comings is and what his work has done for hundreds of thousands throughout this world. No one is more qualified or respected. So rather than posting oh so cleaver barbs try doing a little reading on this man. It is also good taste to read a book before you comment.

This is by far the most comprehensive and stimulating book I have EVER read! Dr. Comings, scientist, medical doctor and geneticist presents wonderful explanation and insight into a most important question. No matter what your theological view, David Comings writing guides you through the complexities of 20th and 21st century science. Dr. Comings has a wonderful way of turning dry science into a sumptuous feast. All should treasure this wonderful volume. It is after all, our story.

Dr. Comings has presented a uniquely balanced and thoughtful approach to science vs religion. While he is a non-theist and strongly supports evolution and science, based on his studies of the neurology of spirituality he is not anti-religion or anti-faith, as long as those beliefs are consistent with a modicum of rational thought.
