Man blows up at an eBay employee during a live talk session. Recorded on 6/19/08 in Chicago. eBay sellers are upset over eBay policy changes that have put many ebayers out of business. Movie was made on an jailbreak iPhone. Sorry for poor quality.

eBay exec: You see, you know what, --- we are giving them a level of transparency that we can.

Guy: They're going, they're leaving, look around you, the rooms empty their leaving. Sellers are leaving!

eB: Uh ok, uh Everyones got their opinion and uh...

Guy: Look around open your eyes,there isn't even a line for registration look at the empty seats in this room. Sellers are leaving because your putting them out of business overnight!

Ebay reps stand up on the podium spewing forth company rhetoric reminiscent of the projectile-vomit scene from Exorcist- as fast as they possibly can, and one guy stands up to them- You go, man! And not many more than one guy is in the room because of such widespread disgust by Ebay users- so Chicago's Ebay Live was more like Ebay Deceased. John Donahoe has KILLED Ebay and sent millions of its customers away. How idiotic does a CEO have to be to achieve this in less than 2 years time?

Ever wonder what scores Ebay itself would get from its users if they had a venue to actually rate the company, similar to the way those users get rated in the Ebay DSR system? Go to rateebay and notice that Ebay scores a 6.7 (out of 100) accross a broad spectrum of parameters including customer service, fee structure, overall experience, etc. On a 5 star system they average about 1 and a half stars. A score of less than 4.8 stars gets a user kicked off of Ebay.

I've said it once and I'll say it again- IF and WHEN a viable alternative to eBay comes along, when ONE site is chosen by all the displaced sellers (rather than 20 sites), Ebay will become an online ghost town overnight because the exodus will be so massive and complete that there will be no undoing it, no rebuilding it. Soon thereafter the share price will drop like a rock and investors will bail. Conditions are ripe for a new alternative to Ebay to emerge which appreciates its sellers.

part ... I struggle with my anger because I am in serious financial problems now (considering bankrupcy). I've tried to hang in there and also go more local but it's not the same. This Jan/Feb 2011 has been the worst and I can't afford some bills. But I try to not to get attached to annoyance. Everything changes and there are ups and downs and you are forced to learn lessons by what happens on your path. Sometimes I'm angry but I also wish these CEO's would get over their horrible ego-trips

I used to make my living off ebay with my artworks ... their idiotic 2008 changes ruined that and I was forced to get into credit card debt after that because I had to get by ... That smug 10 million dollar a year idiot Donahoe is such an typical ass CEO and is the ruination of peoples incomes all for his own agenda ... I have now opened my eyes and see how "Corporatism" is a horrible mental illness of "make money at any cost" ... hopefully society will advance beyond the greed of the 1% elites

Ebay Sucks , I bought some xbox 360 games and the seller sent them to my house in Florida 1 week after I made payment , i sent him messages and he did not answer anyone. Then the videogames arrived to my house , the seller did not say anything about why shipping was so slow . Ebay Sucks !! Oh and by the way 1 game he sent was scratch.
